Very disgusted by the attitude that left me and my son without a place to stay even though we had paid for the accommodation including breakfast and an evening meal we had to pay upfront 50 pre authorisation fee as well as paying for the accommodation absolutely outrageous considering how much money they are raking in they do not tell you this when you book the room is absolutely immoral I would advise anyone staying in there to check and ask at the time of booking that what charges they have to pay even though you are still paying for the room and breakfast and evening meal you should not have to pay a 50 surcharge on top other hotels do not do this yes they take a copy of your card details but that is all they do they don't expect you to pay 50 as a pre authorisation the unfortunate thing had was my son has autism and there was worse for us to go we had to sleep in the car the management of very arrogant and is no consideration or sympathy and no respect whatsoever I will be taking this much further as I'm not happy at all yes the receptionist was very nice but it's all an act
First time in The Manor House this weekend. I was expecting this resort to be separate to the celtic resort but infact we didn't need to go outside at all. The celtic manor and the manor house is all connected and just a lift away. We checked in at the celtic manor and took the lift down to the manor resort. Highly recommend and the rooms were a lot cheaper. The staff were very helpful at all times and was super professional. We parked the car at the yellow under ground car park which is the main car park and took a lift stright up to the lobby. The car park for 24 hours is 15.
A lovely stay: upgraded to a great sized room with a deluxe king (thank you very much), smashing linens and bath sheets, Elemis products are always welcome, fabulous singer in Merlins Bar last night and the staff are super helpful, professional and courteous through out. My only negative would be loud screechy families in the pool but its half term so par for the course! Many thanks all and we will be back!
Lovely overnight stay with breakfast, went to The Grill (at associate hotel, The Coldra) for dinner. Celtic Manor run a bus service between... Very good.
