A pub that boasts about its range of real ales and local Welsh perry and cider. Walked in and asked what they had available only to be told that they didn't have a single real ale on and their 'Welsh perry and cider' range consisted of Stowford Press & Strongbow Dark Fruit!!Only giving it three stars as it's a very quaint pub. Grumpy barmaid too. Don't bother unless you like a drinks range akin to that of a rugby clubhouse...

Both ladies' loos had no locks so no means of privacy. And no loo roll in one of them. And no soap in the dispenser. Grr. Not particularly friendly service either, all of which meant my group of four decided to eat and have further drinks elsewhere and wash my hands properly. Quite quaint building though.
No ales. Tables/seats outside feel like they're gonna give way underneath you.Apart from that, it wasn't bad. Still, not as good as it was back in the 70's.
Visited on a snow day so very quiet, friendly welcome. Asked about available food & told it was a limited menu. Ordered our food with not much delay, all good for what we paid .
