Terrific pub, possibly the best in Newport. Beautiful views of the river, good ale and good pub grub. Gets my vote.

I love this place. The beer is excellent and there is always a guest ale or two. They offer a nice bar menu of simple but well cooked foods and are always happy to make alterations to suit your tastes. They cater for small and medium sized events and have live music at different times. My favourite is Friday afternoon Jazz.
